Blood can be an unsettling subject for many as it often causes us to realize our inevitable demise; however, the story of how blood rushes through our circulatory system is a miraculous and mystifying tale that fascinates even the most squeamish. The vision for this book was to combine that uneasiness with a more uplifting, light feel. The gruesome photography of spiraling blood is paired with text blocks and graphics that display the small and large tunnels that run through our bodies.
